Community Conversation to Shape the Future of Middle School Afterschool Opportunities

Your insights, ideas, and lived experiences helped us understand the challenges and the possibilities ahead. Now, it’s time to take the next step—turning what we heard into action.

Parents, how has it been going for you in the 10 AM hour? A full year has passed since our inaugural Parent Connection Brunch and the launch of The Living Room space. Whether you’re new to St. Mark’s, still searching for a 10 AM home, or you’ve already claimed a favorite chair each week in the Living Room… all parents of infants through college-age young adults are once again invited to join us for a special listening and community-building session! We’ll gather on Sunday, February 22, 10:00–10:50 AM in Cornerstone Commons. As we meet to help build new connections for parents, your Family Ministry team (children’s, youth, and adult ministry staff) would like your feedback on The Living Room and the 10 AM hour activities for all ages. Help us ensure the Education & Small Groups hour fills your spiritual tanks, provides peer support, and meets your needs for connection or quiet reflection while your children are in Kidz Church or Youth Group. Just bring your appetite and willingness to share—we’ll provide the coffee and brunch food!

The long-awaited day for the big Easter picnic at school is finally here and Peter Cotton’s family and friends have arrived for the festivities. However, before the relay games begin, all seems lost when Peter chooses to deny his real friend and switches teams in order to be accepted by the popular crowd. Like all of us, Peter has a great heart but makes wrong decisions sometimes. Peter Cotton’s Tale is a reminder of the sacrifice and commitment that Christ made for all and the forgiveness He still gives us each of us today. Experience the wonder of this fun, easy-to-learn Easter musical that will be enjoyed by kids of all ages!
