Road Trip!

Registration opens February 14 @ 8 AM

Embark on an exciting journey with Road Trip VBS, based on Joshua 1:9 – “The LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Discover God’s presence everywhere as we explore new places, make new friends, and experience God’s goodness together.

Join us in a fun-filled adventure on the open road, taking all the kids (Travelers) on thrilling journeys to exciting destinations. Led by the Navigator and an adventurous pup Scout, kids will learn that God is always with them. Through engaging stories from the Navigators’ Guide (the Bible), Travelers will delve into timeless tales of faith from the Old and New Testaments. Get ready for twists, turns, and excitement as they face new challenges and find strength in God’s presence on this unforgettable trip!

Road trips are a great way to build strong relationships and create indelible memories. This makes Road Trip VBS not only a fun experience for kids, but also an opportunity for them to strengthen their faith and bond with others in their community. With engaging activities, interactive games, and meaningful lessons, children will have a blast while they grow in their understanding of God’s love and promises for everyone.

Please leave items in the bin outside the Children’s Ministries Office. Large boxes can be left inside the CM Office.

• VBS Volunteer Leader Training: Monday, June 30, 6-7:30PM
• Community Social Night: Wednesday, July 9, 6-7PM
  Join us outside under the tent for refreshments; entertainment from the musical group, Circuit Thursday; and fellowship with all your VBS and community friends!
• Student Volunteer Social: Directly after Community Night, July 9, 7-9PM.
  All student age counselors are invited to stay for dinner and a Silent Disco & Glow Party!

Vacation Bible Camp Crew Leader Call-Out!

“Who can be a VBS Crew Leader?”

• Anyone entering 6th grade through adults of all ages who enjoy being with kids!

“What does a VBS Crew Leader do?”

• Crew Leaders are paired in teams of 2 and shepherd a small group of campers to different activity stations each day, traveling the church with at least 2 other crews and their leaders.
• A good crew leader is a friend and helper…they ask questions, take kids seriously, and encourage them throughout camp.
• Crew Leaders do not have to lead the activity stations; they provide support to the station leaders by helping children remain attentive and respectful, participating in the activities, and assisting kids when needed.

“When will I need to be there?”

• VBS is July 7-11, 2025 from 9AM-12PM each day.
• Crew leaders arrive at 8:30AM and leave by 12:15PM.
• There is also a short Leader Training Session on Monday, June 30, 6-7:30PM.
