Join us June 14th from 1-4:30 pm for a high ropes course adventure! Love watching America Ninja Warrior? Ever wonder what it was like for Tarzan to swing from tree to tree? Join us for a high ropes course with over 60 aerial obstacles and ziplines built into the trees of Strawtown Koteewi Park.

We will meet at St. Mark’s UMC at 1pm and drive together to Koteewi Aerial Adventure.

What to bring:
Gloves (all participants must wear either work or garden gloves. They are available for purchase there for $5 a pair)
Water bottle
Closed toed shoes (no sandals or crocs)
Weather appropriate athletic wear

Requirements for participants:
Climbers must be able to reach a touch with their hand a minimum of 66” high with bother feet flat on the ground and be no taller than 6’6”.
Climbers must weigh between 40lbs and 275lbs.

Wildfires Camp is an opportunity for Senior High School students to spend a week together and with students from other churches in a summer camp setting. This year we will be participating in the Senior High School camp at Epworth Forest Conference Center in North Webster, IN.

Students currently in grades 8 through 12 are eligible to attend. (This means students who will be entering grades 9 through High School Graduate in the Fall of 2025). Click here to sign up.

This year 6-8th graders are invited to attend Camp Rivervale as a group with St. Mark’s. Camp Rivervale provides an opportunity to explore faith in a classic camp setting.  Campers will experience age-appropriate activities, service projects and growth opportunities. They will experience God’s love through devotions, worship, and relationships.

So, you signed up to serve at Vacation Bible Camp and now you may be wondering, “What time do I have to be there each day and where do I go?” “What if one of my campers scrapes a knee?” “What do we do if it rains?” “Where do I find my supplies?” All these questions and more will be answered on June 30 at the VBS Leader Training Session.

VBS Directors and experienced leaders are excited to prepare all volunteers for an amazing week of camp! Training will cover the camp theme and mission, the daily schedule and routine, helpful tips on encouraging campers, Safe Church Training and emergency protocol questions, a break-out session for crew leaders and station leaders, and an optional tour of the church building.

If you are registered to volunteer at camp, please plan to attend this very important and exciting night of VBS Leader Training. Whether you are a rookie leader or a seasoned VBS volunteer, your attendance and input helps to make the training a success for everyone. Questions? It’s already time to plan for Vacation Bible Camp 2025! Join us in a fun-filled adventure on the open road, taking all the kids (Travelers) on thrilling journeys to exciting destinations. Led by the Navigator and an adventurous pup Scout, kids will learn that God is always with them. Through engaging stories from the Navigators’ Guide (the Bible), Travelers will delve into timeless tales of faith from the Old and New Testaments. Outgoing 7th through 12th graders are invited to participate in St. Marks’ first annual Youth Mission Camp. Youth will learn about the importance of mission outreach while safely serving others, having fun and fellowship. The week will include group bonding, self-discovery, service, and finding joy in helping others. Activities include an on-site mission project and off-site mission projects, with local partner organizations.
