It’s almost the end of the school year and time for summer. Let’s have a gathering of our Club 56 and Middle School students to celebrate, get to know each other, and have some fun.
We will gather together at St. Mark’s from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. All students currently in grades 5 – 8 are welcome to attend, and friends are welcome as well!
Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided. Everyone should bring food to share as follows:
Last name starting with A through L – Side dish
Last name starting with M through Z – Dessert
Feel free to bring any balls, frisbees, and/or outdoor games to play.

Join UWF members for the “UWF- Sweet End of the Year Celebration”. We are extending this invitation to UWF and St. Mark’s women – bring a friend (no children this year). Dress code is casual – spring-like and pastel.
We are planning a wonderful evening of decorating cookies (eating them if you want), enjoying ice cream, and spending an evening of sweet fellowship. Our theme is to enjoy the end of a Sweet Year of UWF, and share it which others – meet someone new, share with someone you know. We will sing, laugh and have a joyful evening. The Selfie Corner will be available for evening pics.
Please sign up so we will know how many to plan for the evening. Deadline for reservations will be May 7th. There will be no charge; however, there will be a free will offering for the church’s playground.

This year we will be traveling to Maumee, OH in northwest Ohio. We will be staying at a local high school. We will leave St.

This year we will be traveling to Maumee, OH in northwest Ohio. We will be staying at a local high school.
We will leave St. Mark’s on Sunday, June 16th (Father’s Day) and return to St. Mark’s on Saturday, June 22th. Any youth in grades 8 – 12 are eligible to attend. Alternatively, students who are 14 years of age or older by the time we depart on June 16th are also eligible. The cost is $500 per youth. We have reserved 20 spots for youth. In order for spots to be held, payments must be made on time. Sign up here before the spots fill. A waiting list will be kept for additional spots.

That Thing is an opportunity for HIGH SCHOOL students to spend a week together and with students from other churches in a summer camp setting. This year we will be participating in the High School camp (That Thing) at Epworth Forest Conference Center in North Webster, IN.

Cornerstone Youth will meet at St. Mark’s at 8:00 AM to depart for a fun day at Kings Island, in Cincinnati.
All students going into grades 7 through 12 this fall are welcome to attend and are encouraged to bring friends. Depending upon response, we may need adults to help chaperone and drive.
Admission tickets are available online from $49.99 plus taxes and fees (King’s Island website, as well as at Kroger). Each student should purchase their own tickets in advance. Students will also want to bring money for food and/or souvenirs.

It’s already time to plan for Vacation Bible Camp 2024! This summer, we welcome Cokesbury’s Camp Firelight and Lu the lightning bug puppet to our church! Each day, with the help of Lu and the Camp Counselor Guidebook, Counselor Sam and our VBS Campers will explore timeless Bible stories that show how Bible figures trusted God in the face of their own fears and went on to do great things in God’s name.
