The Pumpkin Patch is coming back to St. Mark’s! Pumpkins will be delivered September 19th (around 4:00pm) and sales will start September 20th. We need everyone’s help with setting up and selling.  It’s going to be a fun and profitable fundraiser, but we need you to help make it a success!

Mark your calendar and join us for our annual churchwide event, Mission In Action! Members of St. Mark’s will mobilize the message of Christ’s love, living out our motto, “where mission is a way of life”. Saturday fills our parking lot with a “Potato Drop”, giving out 40,000 lbs. of potatoes. Sunday begins with a fellowship gathering in Wesley Hall. Then we will “worship in action”, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus. A variety of mission projects will be available both offsite in our community and here at St. Mark’s.

It’s time to start thinking about holiday shopping! Plan to shop at our annual Arts and Crafts Marketplace! All crafts and art work will be home-made either by area artisans or by members of St. Marks United Women in Faith. Refreshments will be available at the Candy Cane Café as well as the bake sale table.

St. Mark’s Crafters may also donate handcrafted items to the United Women in Faith craft table. Popular items in the past have included matching knit scarves and hats, aprons, ornaments, American Girl doll clothes and jewelry. ALL proceeds go to support missions.

Back by popular demand! The Food Florist of Fishers returns with its featured made from scratch meals using local, organic and all natural ingredients. One pan from freezer to oven and dinner is done! The Food Florist food truck will be parked at St. Mark’s on this ONE special Sunday for all to purchase frozen meals to take home. Menus and ordering information will be available in the narthex and on the church website. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase new furniture for the church and preschool toddler room.

Step Back in Time for the Holy Walk & Experience the Journey to Bethlehem!

The Holy Walk is one of Hamilton County’s most cherished holiday traditions, drawing visitors from near and far. For two special nights each December, St. Mark’s transforms into the bustling streets of Bethlehem, inviting you to slow down, take a breath, and reconnect with the true meaning of Christmas.

Be Part of the Story

It takes more than 200 volunteers to bring Bethlehem to life each year, and you don’t have to be a member of St. Mark’s to join the cast. Whether you’ve always dreamed of acting, enjoy working behind the scenes, or are looking for a way to serve your community, there’s a place for you. Students can even earn community service hours while having fun and meeting new people.

Children ages 5+ are encouraged to participate at the manger scene as angels and shepherds! Students ages 16+ can volunteer to be Mary or Joseph. Children/teens will rotate in shifts standing at the manger and enjoy snacks & activities in a supervised room in-between rotations. Children who can’t stay all night will be put into earlier rotations so they can still participate. Holy Walk is a great way for families to serve together!

More Than Just a Walk—An Experience for All

For many, the Holy Walk is a highlight of the season. It’s a chance to pause amid the hustle and bustle, reflect on the Christmas story, and share the experience with family and friends. For volunteers, it’s equally meaningful—bringing the story to life for hundreds of guests each night.

Cost of admission is free but we welcome canned goods that will be donated to local food pantries.
