Narcan Training

Narcan Training Event at St. Mark’s

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 3:00-4:30 PM | St. Mark’s Sanctuary

You might know a loved one, neighbor, classmate, or friend who has been affected by the nation’s opioid epidemic. Narcan training is like CPR training–a way for you to be better informed and prepared in the event of an opioid drug emergency.

On Sunday, November 10, 3:00-4:30PM, St. Mark’s will be hosting Narcan training provided by the Hamilton County Dept. of Health. This training teaches about recognizing the effects of a life-threatening opioid emergency, and how and when to administer NARCAN Nasal Spray. Narcan (naloxone) is a treatment designed to rapidly reverse the effects of opioid overdose.
