Serve Anytime!

There are always opportunities to serve in our community and YOUR help is needed!

Volunteers are needed at the CUMC Food Pantry, Changing Footprints, Fishers Youth Assistance Program, and many more!

CUMC Food Pantries

The CUMC Food Pantry serves about 400 Hamilton County families each month. Your help is needed to fill shifts at the pantry. Visit https://carmelumc.org/ministries/missions/ for more information and to sign up!

Changing Footprints

Changing Footprints relies on volunteers like you to continue operating! Families, retirees, singles, anyone is welcome who would like to make a difference. Visit www.bit.ly/cfsignupz  to sign up for available shifts.

Ascent 121

Ascent 121 provides trauma-informed therapeutic services to teen survivors of commercial sexual exploitation. From writing “words of encouragement” cards or advocating on social media, to providing a birthday box or activity kits, there are various ways get involved. Visit https://ascent121.org/volunteer/ to explore the many ways that you can support the teen survivors served by Ascent 121.

Society of St. Andrew

SoSA volunteers typically glean produce left behind after the harvest on local farms. Gleaning keeps produce from going to waste by sharing it with local feeding agencies. Come glean with SoSA to be a good steward of our resources and share food with people in need! Visit https://endhunger.org/get-involved/volunteer/ to fill out the volunteer interest form.

Habitat for Humanity

Serving in Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, and Marion counties, Greater Indy Habitat provides the access, education, house construction, and mortgage for low-to-moderate income buyers to purchase a home without being cost burdened. Visit https://indyhabitat.org/volunteer/ to learn more and sign up as a volunteer for future building opportunities. No previous experience needed!

Fishers Youth Assistance Program (FYAP)

FYAP provides summer meals, tutoring, mentoring, counseling, food, clothing and financial assistance to students ages 3-17 residing in the Hamilton Southeastern School district. Assistance is needed in their food pantry to restock, to assemble summer meal bags, and to make snack kits for families at various times during the year.
