Artist Spotlight

Several years ago St. Mark’s UWF (formerly known as UMW) decided to, once again, host a craft fair. It was something they had done years before, but had stopped doing. As someone who always loved crafting, I had begun making a craft with LEGOS for my own grandchildren and for friends’ children and grandchildren. I decided to become a vendor (MoJoJudo) at that show in an effort to find more folks wanting my LEGO product. Shortly after that show, I changed the product I was making. I started making products utilizing preowned costume jewelry pieces creating theme and holiday trees and pictures.

During the last 11+ years, I have continued selling at various vendor shows throughout Hamilton and Marion counties. After the first show at St. Mark’s, I made the decision to donate 100% of my profits to 6 charitable organizations that my husband and I support.

I’ve loved the creative process and talking with folks at the shows. Unfortunately, as my husband (the “muscle”) and I have aged, the setting up and tearing down for the shows has become too difficult. Thus, I have made the decision to end my business this year. On to the next chapter…
