Stephanie Cohen
Missions Coordinator
I grew up in Bloomington, earned a Biology degree from IU; then lived in the Chicago suburbs for 10 years, during which I attended Dental Hygiene school. After working in the dental field for nearly 30 years, a job change and nudge from God prompted me to spend more time with my kids, and shift my passion for serving others. Having long enjoyed the reward of mission work, I am excited about the opportunity to carry on the outreach St. Mark’s provides.
I have an adult daughter, Cara, who lives in Bloomington; two teenage sons, Caleb and Cameron (whom are both active in Cornerstone Youth), and our sweet puppy Apollo. Joys of mine include spending time with my great extended family, being active outside, travel, and Friday Bible Study.
Fun Facts: I love movies, cooking, scuba diving, snow skiing.
Favorite Movie: Princess Bride, Christmas Vacation
Favorite Book: The Shack, What Remains
Favorite Sports Team: Colts first, but also Patriot’s
Favorite Vacation Destination: Beach, someplace I’ve never been, or where there is no internet
Favorite Local Restaurant/coffee shop: Starbucks, Panera, Kroger’s meat/seafood department
