Missi Koenig

Welcome and Connections Coordinator

I am a graduate of Indiana University with a BS in accounting. During my professional career I have had the opportunity to work in information technology, financial systems support, and accounting. I was privileged back in 2004 to be the Financial Assistant at St. Mark’s for three years before having my third child. I am currently grateful to be teaching preschool to 3-year-olds two days a week in addition to my responsibilities as the Welcome and Assimilation Coordinator at St. Mark’s. I always say I have the best of all world working with preschoolers and adults each week!

My husband Aaron and I have been married since 1998 and were married here at St. Mark’s. We have three children; Anna is 17, Emma is 14 and Josh is 10. We love to play games at home and laugh a lot. Our cherished time together is when we are on vacation and can slow down and enjoy concentrated family time. Our favorite destination is Hilton Head.

I enjoy reading and my favorite book is Nightingale by Kristen Hannah. I have been an active part of the Friday morning bible study at St. Mark’s and truly love studying God’s word and being in Christian fellowship with women.

In our spare time, Aaron and I love trying new restaurants for date night or with friends. We also enjoy watching many different sporting events, but especially Indiana University basketball!!! Go Hoosiers!
