Amy grew up near Cicero, Indiana and graduated from Hamilton Heights before receiving her B.S. in Psychology from Indiana University. A life-long United Methodist, Amy served 13 years as a house-parent at the Indiana United Methodist Children’s Home in Lebanon. 

She answered the call to ministry and received a Masters of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary and served as a United Methodist Clergy for a number of years. Amy then returned to Hamilton County and now resides in her childhood home with her turtle, Peppy and cats, Dragon and Lucky.
