Where Mission is a Way of Life
2011 Mission Trips to West Africa 
 
Two teams are planned by St. Luke's UMC and Operation Doctor for mission work in Sierra Leone. The first leaves January 9 and returns January 22. The team will concentrate on providing medical service, staff continuing education, administrative support, maintenance and project development at Kissy Hospital in Freetown.
 
The second departs on January 23 and returns February 8.  This team will work both at Kissy and upcountry in the village of Taiama. Participants will work on medical, educational, and electrical projects. They will explore the development of a Heifer project for the community. (Dates subject to airline schedule.)
 
Space remains for 5 or 6 persons.  Especially needed are a medical technologist, doctors, a dentist, nurses, ultrasound tech and a pharmacist.
