A special Christmas Eve worship experience for families with young children will be held in the Sanctuary. It will feature a retelling of the Christmas story in a child-friendly way including scripture, carols & a live recreation of the Nativity scene.

A special Children & Youth Music Prelude will be held at 4:30 PM in the Chapel.

Candlelight Services
7:00 p.m.

A family service with involvement by the Church youth & Children's choir. Childcare provided in the nursery for ages 2 & under.

Maundy Thursday - The Lord’s Supper
April 21, 2011 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Child care provided.

Celebrating the Last Supper Jesus had with his disciples. Maundy comes from the Latin maudatum, meaning “command.” It is derived from John 13:34, where Jesus says, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you should also love on another.” So we participate in Christ’s love for us and our communion together.

Good Friday – A Service of Tenebrae

April 22, 2011, 7:00 pm

Tenebrae means “darkness.” As the Passion narrative is read from the Gospels, the candles are gradually extinguished until the reading of Jesus’ death on the Cross and the sanctuary is darkened.
